From humble beginnings, 'Ellaby Yardcare' emerged in 2009 by our Director, Anton, in the inner Brisbane suburb of Lutwyche. What started as a one-person operation offering garden makeovers and ongoing care packages, eventually grew into something much larger.

Anton’s passion for landscaping was undeniable, but he also recognised a common problem in the industry—poor communication, and a lack of attention to client needs. Too often, he saw contractors making decisions without consulting homeowners, leading to frustration and unsatisfactory results.

Determined to provide a better, more client-focused service, Anton expanded the company’s vision. Ellaby Landscaping, was brought to light, built on a foundation of quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and integrity—ensuring clients are involved every step of the way, from the first consultation, to the final tidy-up.

Years later, what began as a one-person show has grown into a team of trade-qualified professionals, including four on-ground staff, an office administration manager, and an estimator. With every project, we continue to uphold our values of integrity, respect, manners, & approachability — always leaving sites better than we found them.
